Textile Inspiration Day
In March 2026 we proudly present the very first edition of Textile Inspiration Day: a new annual textile festival in the city center of Leiden. Expect a vibrant day filled with talks, masterclasses, performances, workshops and an exhibition — all celebrating the power of textile.

This Textile Inspiration Day is all about bringing generations together. With the theme ‘Hands that remember, hands that create’, textile lovers of all ages meet to learn from one another and create new connections. Older generations share their craftsmanship and stories, while younger creators bring fresh ideas and new perspectives. In this way, Leiden's textile heritage is kept alive and evolving.
