Opening Textile Inspiration Day
We will celebrate the opening of Textile Inspiration Day at Museum De Lakenhal. During a short ceremony, the baton will be literally passed on to a new generation of textile lovers.
Over the past month, we have worked in four community centers and at Leiden Art Hub on a large collaborative textile artwork. This artwork will be unveiled during the opening by the councillor for culture Prescillia van Noort.
After the opening, you can attend lectures and masterclasses at Museum De Lakenhal, visit the Make-it Market and exhibition at Leiden Art Hub, or explore the city and discover the various locations participating in the bonus program.
We openen Textile Inspiration Day feestelijk in Museum De Lakenhal. Tijdens een korte ceremonie wordt het stokje letterlijk overgedragen aan een nieuwe generatie textielliefhebbers.
Afgelopen maand werkten we in vier buurthuizen en bij Leiden Art Hub aan een groot gezamenlijk textielkunstwerk. Ook dit kunstwerk wordt tijdens de opening onthuld door de Wethouder van Cultuur Prescillia van Noort.
Na de opening kun je in Museum De Lakenhal naar lezingen en masterclasses, bij Leiden Art Hub de Make-it Market en tentoonstelling bezoeken of de stad in gaan om de verschillende locaties te ontdekken die deelnemen aan het bonusprogramma.
