    The Crochet & Crying Club meets every last Wednesday of the month in the library to crochet, knit, embroider, share stories and knowledge. Do you knit entire sweaters, are you a freestyle crocheter or do you want to make your first stitch together? Everyone is welcome! Just bring your project and join us! Tea and tissues provided!

    Sewing Club

    📅 Second friday of the month 10.00 - 12.00
    📍 Volkshuis, Apothekersdijk 33A Leiden
    💥 Free event

    Whether you're working on a carnival costume, making a summer dress or repairing trousers. If you don't have a sewing machine at home or simply prefer to work with others: join the club! We have sewing machines available for you to use, as well as basic tools. This is not a course, so some sewing experience is required.

    Textile Inspiration Day

    Hands that remember, hands that create: the first edition of Textile Inspiration Day focuses on intergenerational exchange. We honor the passing on of knowledge, stories, and skills between generations. On this day you can visit talks, masterclasses, workshops and exhibitions throughout the city.

We are a social platform founded by makers, for makers. De STOF BOND brings together organizations, artists, and enthusiasts who believe in the power of textiles as an art form and a catalyst for connection.
